In my Aesthetica pieces, the entire class Insecta contends for inclusion into an elite selection of the most brilliantly colored insects in the world. In addition to my trademark melange of brilliant beetles I may add flies, bees, moths, butterflies, mantids, wasps, true bugs and other rarities to create a singularly poignant tribute to the almost incomprehensible variety found among insects. An gentle reminder that, no matter how sated or jaded a naturalist may become, there forever remains a wealth of undiscovered treasures in nature.
