Cytheras Trio – Vertical (11×14)

As their name suggests, clearwings are almost entirely transparent except for the brown veining and flush of color on the hindwings. As their shadow is actually visible through the wings, a mild optical illusion can result, especially in strong lighting.  Though this piece has an oriental feel, clearwings actually inhabit the jungles of the Amazon.
