Egg Mosaic (24×30)
The domestication of game birds has been a cottage industry for millennia. Though many Western civilizations have settled on the chicken as the go-to poultry, some have not. Partridge, quail, chukkar, pheasant, goose, turkey, peahen – not to mention a plethora of exotic chicken species – produce eggs of all sizes and colors – though always in the classic egg shape. Some elements simply cannot be improved upon.
Each one of my egg mosaics is an original work composed of actual, naturally-colored specimens. No two pieces are exactly alike. Though each is a singular composition, the images shown are representative of the aesthetic quality, design, and size of each piece.
