Monochrome (30×30)

There are a number of reasons why I might create a composition only once. Sometimes there is a very limited supply of a particular species, so rather than try to extend them over a larger number of works, I choose to utilize them all in a singular piece. Other times, a composition is so challenging I only have one execution in me. Occasionally, I decide on a significant change to the composition after making the original.
In each case, single editions are not only an exclusive acquisition but a unique marker in the history of my work.
